Preconference Programs

Enjoy one of these preconference programs on Thursday, September 27. Note that many require preregistration as part of your National Conference registration, while others require a separate registration.

Trustee Leadership Seminar 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Additional fee; separate registration required
Foundations rely heavily on the energy, talents, and skills of their board members, as individuals and as a group. This one-day seminar is designed especially for trustees and board members of leanly staffed foundations looking to increase their impact, hone their leadership skills, and more effectively manage change as they advance the missions of their organizations. Through interactive presentations, facilitated discussions, and networking opportunities, participants will come away with tools, inspiration, and connections to elevate their own and their foundation’s performance. Learn more about the seminar and register now.

Authentic Conversations in Philanthropy  9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Additional fee; separate registration required
This seminar will enhance your ability to deeply listen to others and articulate questions and observations that lead to shifts in awareness and action.  Armed with these new skills, you will be able to use authentic conversations to discover new ways of thinking, cultivate more connected relationships, and focus on creating collaborative solutions – all to achieve a greater impact through philanthropy. Learn more about the seminar and register now.
